Woochi begins in the Chosun Dynasty in 1509. A trio of misguided Taoist wizards call on the help of a magician named Jeon Woochi (Dong-won Kang) and his faithful dog/man/woman to find a mystical and powerful pipe. But when a corrupt king and hordes of evil goblins betray Woochi he (and his dog) are sealed in an ancient scroll for all eternity for a crime he did not commit.

The Taoist wizards are called out of peaceful retirement modern times as goblins reappear on the streets of contemporary Seoul and wreck havoc in their pursuit of the fabled pipe. The trio have no alternative but to summon Woochi (and his dog) from his parchment prison to save the day. The problem is Woochi isn’t really that interested in helping them but when the corrupt king returns Woochi (and his dog) must use all their magical powers to save himself and the world!
