Wong (Sammo Hung) is a master Kung Fu chef in his village but his elder brother Jo (Bruce Leung) holds a secret hatred for the skills of his sibling.
When Jo ousts him from the village, a dejected Wong encounters the run-down Four Seas restaurant of a young cooking wonder Jung (Vaness Wu). It is here that he resolves to restore the restaurant to its former glory and train Jung to become the top Kung Fu Chef.
